Enfin&#8230;jusqu&rsquo;au moment o\u00f9 j&rsquo;ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que c&rsquo;\u00e9tait pour la partie de p\u00eache du 1er avril. Ouf! Rassur\u00e9e. Parce que ma chum et moi on s&rsquo;entend comme larrons en foire. On n&rsquo;a ni la m\u00eame nationalit\u00e9 ni le m\u00eame parcours, mais on a visiblement les m\u00eames go\u00fbts et la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re de fonctionner: On aime d\u00e9couvrir le Texas ensemble. \u00a0\u00bb C&rsquo;est ben correc\u00a0\u00bb comme elle dit. Oui c&rsquo;est \u00ab\u00a0le fun\u00a0\u00bb, parce qu&rsquo;on ne remarque pas les m\u00eames choses puisqu&rsquo;on n&rsquo;a pas les m\u00eames r\u00e9f\u00e9rences. Ce matin, on est parties explorer la campagne, au Nord Ouest de Houston. Elle est surprise que je m&rsquo;extasie devant des bo\u00eetes aux lettres tr\u00e8s quelconques, de b\u00eates panneaux de signalisation ou ceux qui indiquent le nombre exact d&rsquo;habitants \u00e0 l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e des agglom\u00e9rations (ils sont chang\u00e9s souvent?). Je crois bien qu&rsquo;elle red\u00e9couvre l&rsquo;Am\u00e9rique \u00e0 travers mes yeux \u00e9tonn\u00e9s. Elle me montre le Cardinal rouge, me fait go\u00fbter ses muffins&#8230; Et elle m&rsquo;apprend plein de choses. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 elle, aujourd&rsquo;hui, j&rsquo;ai d\u00e9couvert \u00ab\u00a0l&rsquo;enfer\u00a0\u00bb: Je n&rsquo;aurais s\u00fbrement jamais compris seule la vocation de cette \u00e9norme construction toute rouill\u00e9e au bord de la route. \u00ab\u00a0Une \u0153uvre de Jean Tinguely peut \u00eatre? &#8211; T&rsquo;es pas s\u00e9rieuse!\u00a0\u00bb (\u00c0 prononcer avec le charmant accent canadien) Et ma cop de m&rsquo;expliquer le fonctionnement de ce monstrueux br\u00fbleur \u00e0 d\u00e9chets de scierie, dont la gueule rougeoyante \u00e9tait autrefois commune au Qu\u00e9bec. Plus loin, quand on photographie des fleurs, elle zoome sur les palmiers et les agaves qui sont tellement exotiques. Ah bon? On en a plein chez nous, je ne les avais pas regard\u00e9s. Oui, c&rsquo;est g\u00e9nial, quand on est ensemble, le Texas devient deux fois plus \u00e9trange&#8230;et c&rsquo;est deux fois plus sympa.
